WAVERLY — Eighth-grader Rachel Houseknecht and freshman Victoria Houseknecht led Waverly in a sweep of Lansing here Thursday afternoon in IAC Large School Division girls bowling action.

Waverly won the first game 775-538, then followed it up with wins of 854-569, and 742-572 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,371 to 1,679.

Rachel Houseknecht led Waverly with a 531 series, including a 217 in the second game, and Victoria Houseknecht rolled a steady 502 series on games of 167 167, and 168.

Freshman Shantilly Decker shot  a 482 for the Lady Wolverines, while senior Morgan Lee had a 436,  senior Megan Lee added a 379, and senior Sadie VanAllen tacked on a 375.

Keara Armstrong led Lansing with a 447 series.

Waverly returns to action Tuesday at Watkins Glen.
