WAVERLY SWEEPS NEWARK VALLEY

NEWARK VALLEY — Freshman Victoria Houseknecht led Waverly to a sweep of Newark Valley here Tuesday afternoon in IAC girls bowling action at Cardinal Lanes.
Victoria Houseknecht rolled a 581 series on games of 219, 201, and 161, while 8th-grader Rachel Houseknecht shot a 501, and senior Megan Lee had a 461.
Freshman Shantilly Decker had a 400 for the Lady Wolverines, while senior Sadie VanAllen added a 380, and senior Morgan Lee tacked on a 378.
Lily Austin led NV with a 422 series.
Waverly returns to action Thursday at Dryden.
