HOUSEKNECHT PACES WAVERLY IN SEASON-OPENING SWEEP OF TIOGA

WAVERLY — Sophomore Victoria Houseknecht opened the season with a 600
series to lead Waverly to a sweep of Tioga here Tuesday in IAC girls
bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.
The Lady Wolverines won all three games by at least 235 pins, and posted a 2,471 to 1,663 total-pinfall victory.
Victoria
Houseknecht rolled 600 on the nose with games of 193, 214, and 193,
while freshman Rachel Houseknecht shot 589, including a 206.
Senior
Haley Kittle shot a 546, including a 210, while sophomore Shantilly
Decker added a 481, and 8th-grader Serenity Clark tacked on a 255
series.
Destini Sweet led Tioga with a 399 series, while BobbiJo
Tarbox added a 362, Jamie Card added a 358, and Cassie Birney tacked on a
323.
Waverly and Tioga are both back in action Thursday.
