MINAKER LEADS THREE WAVERLY RUNNERS IN TOP 12 AT LEAGUE MEET
 

MARATHON — Waverly, led by freshman Harper Minaker, had three runners finish in the top 12 here Thursday at the IAC Girls Cross Country Championships.

Minaker finished third in a time of 22:26.1 to earn first-team all-star status, while sophomore Elizabeth Vaughn was eighth in 23:18, and senior Olivia Nittinger was 12th in 24:09 to both earn second-team all-star honors.

Sophomore Ally Barrett finished 41st for Waverly in a time of 29:02.

Waverly returns to action Nov. 4 in the Section IV Championships at Chenango Valley State Park.
