TRUMANSBURG — Eighth-grader Harper Minaker paced Waverly with a pair of fourth-place finishe here Wednesday at the IAC Girls Track & Field Championships.

HORSEHEADS — Horseheads took the lead early and never trailed in a 7-2 win over Waverly here Tuesday afternoon in non-league baseball action.

WAVERLY — Watkins Glen pulled out a 190-195 win over Waverly here Thursday in the regular-season finale for both IAC boys golf teams at The Club at Shepard Hills.

WAVERLY — Waverly took advantage of an error to score a pair of runs in the sixth inning to pull out a 7-5 win over S-VE here Thursday afternoon in IAC softball action.

WAVERLY — Lansing jumped out to a 5-0 lead, then held off Waverly’s comeback efforts for an 8-5 win here Tuesday afternoon in IAC softball action.

NEWARK VALLEY — Senior Gabby Picco, junior Abby Knolles, and sophomore Kennedy Westbrook ran on a pair of winning relays, and junior Olivia Nittinger was the Lady Wolverines’ only individual winner here Monday at the IAC South Large School Divisional track & field meet.

JOHNSON CITY — Senior Haley Kittle paced Waverly as the Lady Wolverines picked up a win against an incomplete Johnson City squad here Monday afternoon in non-league golf action at Endwell Greens.

NEWARK VALLEY — Senior Caden Wheeler was a four-time winner to pace Waverly’s efforts here Monday afternoon at the IAC South Large School Divisional boys track & field meet.
