
UNBEATEN NEWARK VALLEY SWEEPS WAVERLY

NEWARK VALLEY — Newark Valley remained unbeaten with a dominant sweep of
Waverly here Thursday evening in IAC Large School volleyball action.
The Lady Cardinals, now 7-0, won by scores of 25-5, 25-12, and 25-15.
Senior
Caitlyn Bakley led Waverly with five service points and five setter
assists, while senior Sidney Tomasso had three points — all aces, four
digs, and three kills, and senior Emilee Little registered four kills
and two digs.
Junior Aryan Peters recorded six digs for the Lady Wolverines, and 8th-grader Lillie Kirk chipped in with two digs.
Waverly, now 3-6, returns to action Friday at Tioga.
