WAVERLY FIRES SEASON-LOW IN 188-224 WIN OVER NEWARK VALLEY

NEWARK VALLEY — Davis Croft shot a career-best round to lead Waverly in a
188-224 win over Newark Valley here Tuesday afternoon in IAC boys golf
action at Grandview Farms.
Croft fired a 45, while Jackson Knight shot a season-low 46, Aidan Westbrook carded a career-low 47, and Liam Traub added a 50.
Declan Murphy and Hunter Elston tacked on non-scoring rounds of 51 and 60, respectively.
Shaun Deer led Newark Valley with a 47.
Waverly, now 5-2, plays Notre Dame Friday at Mark Twain Golf Course.
