WAVERLY JV SWEPT BY ELMIRA IN SEASON FINALE

WAVERLY — Waverly dropped a pair of tightly-contested sets in a
season-ending, 2-0, loss to Elmira here Wednesday night in IAC junior
varsity volleyball action.
The Lady Express won decisions of 25-19 and 26-24. Elmira also won an exhibition set by the score of 25-4.
Brilynn
Belles led Waverly with nine points, including six aces, four digs, and
two kills, while Natalie Lauper had five points, two kills, and two
digs, and Mia Bakley had four points — all aces, and three digs.
Erica
Ryck added two points, eight digs, four setter assists, and two kills
for the Lady Wolverines, while Haylie Davenport recorded five digs, and
Ashlen Croft registered three kills and one block.
