
WAVERY DROPS 3-1 DECISION AT EDISON

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Thomas A. Edison topped Waverly for the third time this
season, winning a 3-1 decision here Wednesday night in IAC volleyball
action.
The Lady Spartans won the first two sets by scores of
25-17 and 25-18. After the Lady Wolverines won a 25-18 decision in the
third set, Edison closed out the match with a 25-21 win.
Emilee
Little led Waverly with eight service points, including five aces, five
digs, and three kills, while Aubrey Ennis had seven points, eight digs,
and two kills, Aryan Peters had six points and 22 digs, and Sidney
Tomasso registered seven kills, six blocks and 16 digs.
Michaela
Lauper had five points, 11 digs, and two setter assists for the Lady
Wolverines, while Caitlin Bakley had two points, 12 assists, three
kills, and three digs, and Lillie Kirk added eight digs and three kills.
Waverly, now 3-5, returns to action Thursday at Newark Valley.
