HOUSEKNECHT LEADS WAVERLY IN SWEEP OF EDISON

WAVERLY — Sophomore Rachel Houseknecht paced Waverly in a sweep of
short-handed Edison here Tuesday afternoon in IAC girls bowling action
at Dixie Lanes.
The Lady Wolverines tallied a team score of 2,400, while the Lady Spartans, with just three bowlers, had a 1,149.
Rachel
Houseknecht rolled a 576 series, including a 228, while junior
Shantilly Decker had a 563, including a 203, and junior Victoria
Houseknecht had a 537, including a 223.
Freshman Serenity Conklin added a 443 in the sweep, and 7th-grader Emily Houseknecht tacked on a 281.
Leah O’Connell led Edison with a 426 series.
Waverly returns to action Thursday when it hosts Candor.
