
KNIGHT, CROFT LIFT WAVERLY TO 4-STROKE WIN OVER T-BURG

WAVERLY — Seniors Jackson Knight and Davis Croft led Waverly to a
four-stroke, 187-191, win over Trumansburg here Thursday afternoon in
IAC boys golf action at The Club at Shepard Hills.
Knight fired a
42 and Croft shot a 43 on the par-37 front nine, while senior Hunter
Elston carded a season-best 45. Senior Declan Murphy added a 57.
Junior Evan Davies and Joey Bernatavitz tacked on non-scoring rounds of 59.
Trumansburg’s Jack Sherry earned low-medal honors with a 40.
Waverly, now 4-5, returns to action Tuesday at Marathon.
