ROBINSON, DeLILL PACE WAVERLY AT CORNING COUNTRY CLUB

CORNING — Freshmen Breanne Robinson and Lauryn DeLill paced Waverly here
on a cool and windy Monday afternoon of Section IV girls golf action at
the Corning Country Club.
Robinson shot a 54 and DeLill a 55 on
the par-37 front nine as Waverly carded a four-player aggregate score of
258. The Lady Wolverines were the only team to field a full compliment
of golfer.
Eighth-grader Addison Hunt had a 74 for Waverly, while
Maddy Farnum added a 75, and 8th-grader Sophia Sileo tacked on a
non-scoring round of 78.
Corning Lucia Chen shot the low round of the day with a 43, and her teammate Hannah Masaki added a 46.
Vestal’s Allison Yoon carded a 53.
Waverly returns to action Thursday when it hosts Marathon.
