BIG FLATS — Unbeaten Horseheads had four players shot 48 or better in a 188-216 win over Waverly here Friday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action at Willowbrook Golf Course.

Brooklyn Maffe earned low-medal honors for the Lady Blue Raiders with a 43, while Olivia Hatch shot a 46, and Caitlyn Slavin and Delaney Cook shot matching rounds of 48.

Freshman Breanne Robinson led Waverly with a 49, while freshman Madalyn Farnham shot a 54, 8th-grader Sophia Sileo added a 56, and freshman Lauryn DeLill tacked on a 57.

Brittany Tiffany and Rebecca Hamilton both shot rounds of 65 to lead Elmira.

Waverly returns to action Tuesday at Marathon.
