
UNBEATEN SVEC TOPS WAVERLY, 181-20

WAVERLY — Unbeaten SVEC had all four of its scorers break 50 in a
181-206 win over Waverly here Friday afternoon in IAC South Large School
boys golf action.
Juniors Jacob Banks and Taylor Brock shared
low-medal honors for SVEC (5-0) with rounds of 43, while freshman Tyler
Greeno shot a 46, and freshman Noah Banks carded a 49.
Senior
Matt Atanasoff and junior Joey Bernatavitz shot matching rounds of 51 to
lead Waverly, while seniors Davis Croft and Jack Knight each shot
rounds of 52.
Senior Hunter Elston added a non-scoring round of 56, and senior Declan Murphy tacked on a 65.
Waverly, now 2-3, returns to action Monday in a rematch with SVEC at Catatonk Golf Course.
