
WAVERLY GOES 1-2 IN QUAD MEET AT WILLOWBROOK GOLF COURSE

BIG FLATS, N.Y. — Freshman Breanne Robinson led Waverly to one win at a
Section IV girls golf quad- meet here on a rainy Friday afternoon at the
Willowbrook Golf Course.
Unbeaten Horseheads was 3-0 on the day
with a four-player aggregate score of 188, while Corning shot a 205,
Waverly carded a 220, and Odessa-Montour tallied a 250.
Robinson
shot a 52 on the par-37 front nine at Willowbrook, while freshman Lauryn
DeLill had a 54, freshman Maddy Farnham carded a 55, and 8th-grader
Addison Hunt tacked on a 59.
Corning’s Lucia Chen earned
low-medal honors with a 43, while Olivia Hatch led four Horseheads
golfers in the 40s with a 45. Eliza Starkweather led O-M with a 58.
Waverly returns to action Monday at the Corning Country Club.
