WOOD LEADS WAVERLY IN 3-1 WIN OVER LANSING

WAVERLY — Freshman Dom Wood led a balanced Waverly line-up in a 3-1 win
over Lansing here Thursday afternoon in IAC South Large School bowling
The Wolverines won the first game 1,029-796, and followed it up with a 958-875 on their way to a 2,914 to 2,632 total-pinfall victory. The Bobcats won the third game 961-927.
Wood rolled a 625 series on games of 277, 193, and 155, while junior Zach Vanderpool shot a 613 series on games of 184, 234, and 195, and sophomore Trenton Sindoni had a 582, including a 217 in the first game.
Senior Cody Blackwell had a 536, including a 207 in the third game, in the win, while junior Ashton Pritchard added a 524, and 8th-grader Tristan Campbell tacked on a 479.
Ethan Roberts bowled a 544 in reserve for the Wolverines, and junior Landyn Gunderson had a 513.
Parker Ouellette led four Bobcats with 500 seres, rolling a 563.
Waverly returns to action Feb. 1 at Thomas A. Edison.
